My name is Nadia Kline-Taylor and I am excited to be new the Assistant Principal at Lone Hill Middle School. This is my 17th year in education and I am so excited to start it as a lion!
I started out working in a 6-12 school in New York City as an instructional aide while I worked on my B.S. in English Education at New York University. I then went on to become a 7th and 11th grade teacher at that same school. Over my 8 years as a teacher, I taught English, History, Humanities, Debate and Spanish. While teaching, I earned an M.A. in Urban Education from the Graduate Center at the City University of New York and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from New England College.
I've spent the past 4 years as a HS assistant principal in the Bronx and in Northern California. Through these experiences, I have come to believe that the best way to ensure college and career success for all students, is to craft a MIDDLE SCHOOL program that is highly engaging, rigorous, personalized and responsive. I look forward to working with Lone Hill families to ensure our program provides equitable access to exactly this.
